Mark Hannon was born and raised on the East Coast and has enjoyed family and friends along the route 89 corridor through northern Vermont and became a part of the local community having cemented his place in Middlesex, near the state capital of Montpelier. 
 
Mark focused on building his career in technology starting out as a systems engineer and working his way up to being the head of IT Infrastructure in the US for an international wealth management company. His professional journey included time as an engineer, project manager, head of incident, problem and change management and head of IT Security as well as building governance areas and infrastructure management for large international organizations.  In the past 20 years Mark developed expertise in IT management, IT Security, Risk Management, Audit and Regulatory areas.  He has earned certifications in ITIL Service Management, PMI Project Management, MS MCSE and financial management of IT areas. His work history includes large scale projects including upgrade of IT Security devices and configuration, replacement of Storage Area Networks, upgrading critical Network cabling, devices and access, upgrading Active Directory and creation of large-scale management initiatives including the financial and project planning of a shift to cloud computing.
